2018 NRVC Annual Report

Dear NRVC members,
friends, and benefactors,

We were fortuitous to have the new NRVC model of Leadership in place as we faced the challenges of 2020. Our team leadership model and our members push us to embrace learning everywhere, all the time. This learning helped us adapt to “the new normal” we encountered in 2020 and it is enhanced by generous donors, members, collaborators and Foundation Grants (GHR and Hilton). Your support continues to exemplify the vitality of religious life. For all of us 2020 was a year filled with challenges and opportunities.

As our Holy Father Pope Francis states: “The only way to get out of a crisis better is to get out of a crisis together, re-embracing with more conviction the community in which we live.” The NRVC continues to be a vital organization and our success is driven by community and all who help promote vocations. This allows us to provide the programs and tools to invite women and men to consider religious life. Religious women and men have participated fully in all the NRVC has offered this past year, and though we were not able to gather in person, together we were able to continue to share, learn, teach and grow. Religious women and men are vital to our Church and the world as they help the vulnerable and the poor. Religious continue to support and protect the rights of refugees, migrants, immigrants and the unborn. They are advocates for addressing the impact of global warming on our environment. God is still calling us to learn, speak, listen, work and pray for the sake of humankind

God is still calling us to learn, speak, listen, work and pray for the sake of humankind.,
Mr. Phil Loftus
NRVC Director of Development
