While leisure is an endangered value for Americans in general, for church and vocation ministers in particular, leisure may well be bordering on extinction. Vocation ministers are susceptible not only to the ordinary prejudices and pressures of the culture, but they have the added pressure of feeling great responsibility for keeping their congregations alive and vital, often against great odds.
