In addition to the monthly newsletter which is emailed and archived on the website under the Publications/Studies tab, NRVC sends out emails to members announcing upcoming events, links to other sites or studies, and other informative news. These emails are currently not archived on the website.
If you are not receiving an email from NRVC at least once a month in addition to the newsletter ...
- First verify that the NRVC email is not going to your spam or junk folder. If our email is indeed in this folder, there is usually a button to click to signify that the email is not spam and should go directly to your main inbox.
- If NRVC emails are not in your spam folder then you need to “whitelist” the domain names nrvc.net and catholicworldwide.com so that they are on the list of allowed domains from which you are willing to receive email. Depending upon your browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Explorer, etc.) the steps may differ. There are various sites which can walk you through the process for whitelisting such as http://www.whatcounts.com/hot-to-whitelist-emails
- Finally, for those members who have an IT department, a strong anti-spam software is most likely preventing NRVC emails from reaching you and the “whitelisting” needs to take place on the software program used by your IT department. Please let your IT department know that you need to receive emails from the above domains.
If you or your IT department needs further information please have them contact me at 773-595-4034 or margyelan@nrvc.net
