Convocation to include special recognitions

The Oct. 31-Nov. 4 NRVC Convocation in Minneapolis will include special recognition for groups and people who have made outstanding contributions.  The NRVC will present the following:
 

• The National Conference of Vicars for Religious (NCVR) will receive our highest recognition, the Harvest Award. The NCVR serves the vicars and episcopal delegates for religious serving in dioceses across the United States.
   
• Lifetime membership awards will be presented to  Marge Argyelan, director of database administration who will retire in August, and Sister Josita Colbert, S.N.D.deN., HORIZON contributor, former board member and former member of the African American Vocation Committee of the NRVC.
   
• In addition to the above awards, the NRVC is welcoming nominations for the Outstanding Recognition and Mustard Seed awards by August 15. Details and the form for making nominations are here.
