Study of international sisters

Study of international sisters

Findings released

A study of sisters from abroad who minister in the United States shows, among other things, that these religious:

1) Tend to be much younger upon arrival (age 30) than the average U.S. sister.

2) They are highly educated.

3) Come from more than 80 countries.

The study was conducted by Trinity University and the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate. The full study may be downloaded in English and Spanish.
