New resources available

Two new color brochures have been updated to answer commonly asked questions about vocations to religious life. Ten Questions Parents Ask and Ten Questions People Ask have been designed as a four panel double gate brochure. These resources are great give-aways at vocation fairs, in parish bulletins, and other mega events. They can also be used in orientation programs for employees, volunteers, and board members who need accurate information about religious life. Thank you to the following NRVC members for your help in editing the questions: Brother Jonathan Beebe, CSC; Sister Maria Brizuela, OSF; Sister Josita Colbert, SNDdeN;  Sister Michael Francine Duncan, SSMO; Mr. Len Uhal; and Sister Mary Yun, OP. Click here to order.

Synod to be held in 2018

The next general assembly of Catholic bishops will take up the theme: “Youth, Faith and Vocational Discernment.” To prepare for this 15th Ordinary General Synod, Pope Francis has written a preparatory document  and a letter to young people.  There is also a special prayer written for young people.
